Hmmmm. . . a strategic move there J.

It's been six years since I became a mother. Today was a big payday. More about that to come on the family blog.

Londyn's strange new obsession - lining up all the measuring cups on the couch. She's done this every day this week. I'm not sure what to make of it.

Finished piecing the top of Baby Boy's blanket. Now to get it quilted and bound and I'll be done with blankets for him.

Marie and I gave my mom a certificate for a pedicure for her birthday back in March. We finally had a chance to cash it in. At least my toes can feel pretty until they start swelling up like mini sausages.

I am normally over-eager to throw trash away. In my opinion, the easiest way to clean a room is to throw away as much as possible, and donate the rest to DI. However, I couldn't bear to throw this big box away when the girls started playing in it. They've had more fun with it than a basement full of toys. (It has been moved to the basement however, and I'm sure it will meet it's doom during the next great basement purge.)

I had a shoot yesterday so while I had the lights and backdrop out, I tried to get some "art" shots for decorating Baby's room. Not sure if they'll work or not. I did this bear and an old toy truck, but I need to find a third something or other to shoot.

Another pic courtesy of Londyn keeping herself entertained while running errands, this time at Ikea.

Mother's Day is yuuuuuuummy. Notice I couldn't wait to start eating them - the plate was half gone before I could stop to take a picture. I love my hubby.

Recital night! She did great! I need to get the video off Will's phone and upload it on the regular blog.

My new favorite date for 2010! At my appointment this morning my doctor moved my due date up by 11 days. Woot woot!

Ready for church. I let them pick their own clothes to wear to church. Sometimes they want to match, sometimes they don't. I love it when they want to be matchy-matchy.

Since Will just checked this blog today (and told me how behind it was - thus the mass updating) I'm hoping it will be another month or two before he checks it again. So I think maybe I can slip this one in without him noticing.
We went to Target after our date on Saturday night. They had these giant magnifying screens, I think for looking at bugs or something. Anyway when he held it up to his face I told him he looked like one of those Jib-Jab characters. And then of course he had to do a Jib-Jab dance. And then he let me take his picture. What a guy.

On Friday the parents were invited to come see all the students' animal dioramas. The kids stood by their projects while the parents walked around. Jacey stood by hers and told people all about chicks when they came by. I was pretty impressed with how much she knew and remembered about what we had read.

Jacey had to do an animal diorama project for school. Will took her to QuicKutz to do her project. He said she did it all - cut every die cut and glued everything but the stand for the chick to lean on. She was very proud of her diorama.

Will used President Monson's story about the primary children sending him "warm fuzzies" for his birthday in his FHE lesson this week. The girls have been trying hard to earn warm fuzzies to put in the jar by doing kind things for each other.
04.23.2010
I sat and watched Will play with the girls. He is so much more fun than I am. No wonder they love him like they do.

I went along on Jacey's class field trip as a parent volunteer. They went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Jacey is utterly terrified of any and all animals when they're too close. Needless to say she didn't opt to pet any of the animals. Her teacher said to me afterwards "That's the first time I've ever seen Jacey be timid about something, she is always so confident!" But she still had a good time and I enjoyed going with her.

So we had some rolls in the freezer at my mom's house that we'd forgotten. She sent them home with us on Saturday night. We may or may not have forgotten to put them in the freezer when we got home.

Londyn is excited to be a part of tennis lessons this summer. Unfortunately this is the only tennis night they've had so far, since it's been so DANG COLD all spring.
